What this notice covers

This website, manufactoria.ai, its Log in page, and the emails you send us, including pilot enquiries. Data inside a customer's Manufactoria installation is covered by that customer's agreement with us.

Pilot enquiries and email

The pilot form doesn't send anything by itself. When you press Discuss a pilot, your mail app opens an email to contact@manufactoria.ai with the details you typed. We receive them only if you send that email.

From an enquiry we receive your name, email address and company, and anything else you write: team size, code host, what you would like Manufactoria to handle, how you would pay for models, and your notes. The same goes for any other email you send us.

We use these details to reply to you and to discuss a pilot. The legal basis is taking steps you asked for before a possible contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).

We keep an enquiry for 12 months after our last contact. If it leads to a pilot, the pilot agreement says how long we keep it.

Signing in

The Log in page helps you find your Manufactoria installation. You type your email address, and the page sends it to every installation we run to ask whether it has an account for that address. If one does, we email you a one-time code. After you enter the code, the page lists your installations. You pick one and sign in on the installation itself.

The page keeps no readable copy of your email address or IP address. To limit how often codes can be requested, it stores keyed hashes of them and deletes them once they are an hour old, the next time someone uses the page. Your sign-in session on the page, with the list of installations it found, ends after 15 minutes.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in letting the people on our customers' installations sign in securely (Article 6(1)(f)).

Visiting the site

Our hosting provider's servers record your IP address, browser details and the pages you request. These logs let the site be delivered, faults be fixed and abuse be stopped. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f)). Our hosting provider sets how long the logs are kept. We are confirming that period with them and will add it here.

Cloudflare runs the domain's DNS only. Your visit goes straight to our hosting provider and doesn't pass through Cloudflare.

The site's fonts are served from our own site, so your browser doesn't contact a font provider.

Settings and cookies

Your choice of light or dark theme, and the Reduce motion setting, are saved in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are never sent to us.

The Log in page sets one cookie, __Host-mf_login, which signing in needs. It lasts 15 minutes. Otherwise the site sets no cookies, and it runs no analytics or advertising trackers.

Who receives your data

Because Purelymail is in the United States, the emails you send us are stored there. Resend's data processing agreement covers transfers to the United States with the EU's standard contractual clauses. We don't sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict its use, or for a copy in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to privacy@manufactoria.ai. We answer within one month.

You can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).

We make no automated decisions about you.

Changes

When what we collect changes, we update this notice and the date at the top.
